An infection in the leg of movie star Zsa Zsa Gabor has worsened to the point that doctors now believe the only way to save her life is to amputate a “significant part of her limb.”
TMZ learned from Prince Frederic von Anhalt, the husband of Gabor, that if the surgery can occur in the very near future, only a small part of her leg will need to be removed.
However, the amount of leg that will need to be amputated will also depend on how quickly the infection spreads.
Zsa Zsa has not yet been slated for surgery, however the 93-year-old actress is expected to go under the knife by the end of the week.
