Lifetime tweets out, “We are sad Zendaya will no longer portray Aaliyah. Production is currently on hold.”
The Disney star was previously attached to play the ’90s R&B star, until this unfortunate news. A source adds that there were production issues, which led the actress to say that “she wants to do it right.”
As for the ‘Pink Barbie,’ she was reportedly shading fellow rapper Iggy Azalea when she accepted her fifth BET Award.
“…But my point is, what I want the world to know about Nicki Minaj is, that when you hear Nicki Minaj spit, Nicki Minaj wrote it,” Minaj says.
This was an apparent attack to the newbie Australian rapper, who was rumored to have used ghostwriters on her latest album.
