“It just dawned on me, with the transient nature of sports today, with a lot of the players changing teams all the time, that a lot of these clubs now are really looking for a clubhouse presence,” he explained.
Well, he just went to 10 different Major League Baseball teams, and took his turn at all nine positions in one day’s worth of Cactus League games!
“You know, a 47-year-old journeyman to provide the intangibles, and that’s what I can provide. By journeyman I mean someone with no baseball ability whatsoever,” Ferrell adds.
Ain’t that interesting.
