Salma Hayek is currently working on an eight-hour miniseries that will adapt the book in which the uber-popular musical Wicked was based upon.
Hayek is producing the miniseries for ABC, after the network first passed on the idea in 2009.
The book, titled Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West was written by Gregory Maguire and led to the award winning musical adaptation.
The miniseries is being written by Band of Brothers writer Erik Jendresen.
