Claire Danes Dumps Billy Crudup, Takes Hold of Hugh Dancy

claire-danes-hugh-dancy-1-15-07.jpg27-year-old Claire Danes (I thought she would be way older than that) has dumped her man of three years, 38-year-old Billy Cudrup,  and taken up with a new man.  Danes & 31-year-old Hugh Dancy (who kinda looks like a young Billy actually) were spotted in New York’s SoHo district Thursday holding hands.

The new duo spent the day having a cozy breakfast, walking around the city & grabbing a bite to eat for lunch as they grabbed a bite of each other. 

Maybe Claire has finally found a decent human being to date, since Cudrup certainly didn’t fit that bill when he left his 7-month-pregnant girlfriend Mary-Louise Parker in 2003 to be with Danes.  Oucharoo, why do those men keep playing that card?  First K-Fed, then Eddie Murphy & even sweet-faced Billy-C played that card.  What gets in that Hollywood water?

The Circle of Justin Timberlake, Cameron Diaz & Scarlett Johansson

justin-timberlake-scarlett-1-11-07.jpgIt’s the end of another era.  Justin Timberlake & Cameron Diaz have called it quits after more than four years, poor kids.  But it looks like good ole Justin is already on the prowl & apparently has been for a while, even while he & Diaz were still together.  Those men, what are you gonna do with ’em?

When 25-year-old Timberlake was doing the female lead casting for his new “What Goes Around” $1 million music video, he only went after one girl, Scarlett Johansson.  Even though he & Cameron were on the rocks & Diaz is apparently jealous of the busty babe, Justin went after Scarlett pretty hard.  And she said yes.

According to a pal, the video appearance had nothing to do with adding some variety to her resume, “Scarlett has always liked Justin. They’ve always had a flirtation – that’s why Cameron was threatened by her.”

And that’s exactly how Cameron felt.  After their relationship was already hurting, this move sent the affair to a breaking point.

“She could not believe he went behind her back to put her in the video,” revealed a Timberlake pal.

“Cameron was very jealous of Scarlett.”

The source added that “they definitely got together after she did the video.”

Wow.  That is some tough competition, Scarlett Johansson.  I’m not sure if she was in the mix, if I would stand a chance with my man. 

But, what I’m really wondering is this- How do so many women, and hot women at that, find Justin Timberlake hot?  He’ll always be a boy band guy to me.  You tell me- Is Justin really that hot?  Convince me.

Mandy Moore & DJ A.M. are Dating?

Well, the two got cozy January 6 at the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in Los Angeles, according to Us Weekly.

A source who saw the two at the coffee shop stated, “She had a huge smile on her face.”

“When they left, they put their arms around each other.”

Well, the say the New Year is a new year. Maybe Mandy made some resolutions to test the waters of different men. Who knows. I wonder what Nicole Richie makes of the pairing?

Well, this New Year’s Eve the lucky gentleman was her on-again off-again boyfriend, Greek shipping heir Stavros Niarchos.  The two rung in 2007 with many a kisses & hugs at a party at Sydney, Australia’s Icebergs on Bondi Beach.  It looks like Stavros was getting down under, down under…

After the show, Justin & girlfriend of four years Cameron Diaz, headed to the after-party in New York City where they probably talked about when SNL used to be funny….
