Tracking Celebrities in Their Native Habitat
Trust the band to try something like this. They posed as a young, unknown band from Norway and played at SXSW, a small gig in Texas. They did it as part of the promotions for Guitar Hero: Metallica, which is to be released on the 29th of this month. Naturally, they were found out before the end of the set.
Of the original group, there were only 2 left: Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin. And now, there is only Billy. He recently announced that Chamberlin has left the group, and that he would go back to the studio soon to record alone. He’s retaining the name of the band, though.
The superstar is going back to the studio to record new tracks for her planned greatest hits album. If rumors are to be believed the album should be out by September of this year. Madonna fans are all excited, I bet.
U2 has got what it takes – there is no doubting that. Decades after they made it big, the band still made it to the top of the charts with their latest album, “No Line On The Horizon.” Perhaps that street that was named after them should remain as is?
Remember about a week ago when we heard wild forecasts about the 3D movie of THE brothers? Well, apparently, it did not do as well as forecasted. The movie didn’t do that bad, actually, getting abotu $12.7 million in the first 3 days. It was short of the $15m that the studio was hoping for though, and way way short of the crazy predictions that reached $25m.
