Jessica SimpsonJessica Simpson has been dating the still legally married Eric Johnson for three months and now it’s being reported that she shelled over $50,000 to buy a three-carat diamond engagement ring so she can married the grad school dropout.

Eric Johnson had a short lived career in the NFL and it has been reported that he’s strapped for cash and still married to his wife, but that hasn’t stopped Simpson from buying the ring just three weeks into their relationship.

Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson Cancel Wedding, Call it Quits

Star Wars star Hayden Christensen and star of the now defunct O.C Rachel Bison have called it quits after a three-year courtship. The couple began dating after having co-starred in the movie Jumper.

The couple were engaged to be marred and Bilson’s rep confirmed on Monday that the relationship is over. The rep said of the breakup:

“Yes, the engagement is off, therefore, so is the wedding,”

Weekend Ceremony: Carrie Underwood Marries Hockey Playing Fiance

Country superstar Carrie Underwood and her fiance Mike Fisher, 30, were married on Saturday, July 10th.

Fisher is a hockey play for the Canadian hockey team the Ottawa Senators.

According to PEOPLE Magazine the couple have been engaged since December and the wedding was witnessed by 250 guests during a private ceremony at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge at Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Georgia.

Girls Gone Wild Creator Engaged To CBS News Reporter

Joe Francis Christina McLarty Engaged

Joe Francis, the creator of Girls Gone Wild has asked Christina McLarty, a CBS Entertainment News reporter to “form a civil domestic partnership” with him this week and she said yes. The couple have been part of an on again off again relationship for the last 4 years.

Francis, who was found guilty of tax evasion a while back proposed to McLarty while they vacationed in St. Tropez this week.
