The 21-year-old actress has admitted that thoughts of quitting the Hollywood limelight have passed her mind more than once. Born in the UK and raised in the US, Miss Barton‘s self-described “roller coaster” career, which peaked with her role as Marissa in the OC is the probable reason for this change of heart.
With not only Nicole Richie’s belly getting a little bit larger, but her girly pillow as well, it’s nice that the socialite is finding time for her old girlfriends as well.
Richie was spotted grabbing a bite to eat at New York’s Mercer Kitchen on Monday with celeb pal Mischa Barton. Barton is looking frumpy as usual, while Nicole seems to have a different air about her these days. Guess it’s just that pregnant glow kicking in…
Reportedly, actress Mischa Barton was rushed to a hospital this weekend after suffering some adverse reactions to medication.
Barton was apparently enjoying a Memorial Day cookout with a few cocktails with friends when the star began to feel ill. Barton, who was taking antibiotics for an earlier case of bronchitis, discovered the hard way that you cannot combine alcohol with those kinds of meds.
According to Mischa’s family, the starlet is “feeling much better” & is “resting comfortably.”
Looking forward to seeing Barton back on the streets in her infamous 80s wear.

Barton was spotted shopping in London on Monday wearing a pair of high-waisted trousers & an antique Fleetwood Mac t-shirt. Clearly the poor girl’s wardrobe was robbed by vandals & all they left her was her old 80s stuff.Â

While out Thursday night with pals Jamie-Lynn Sigler & Kirsten Dunst, Mischa Barton partied a little too hard.
The trio were slamming back drinks at New York City hotspot The Anchor when Barton apparently pulled back a drink & then pushed back some vomit on the patio.
Now, most celebs would just go ahead & call that a night, but not good old Mischa. Barton marched back into the club, head held high, and started the party all over again. My, what a trooper.
So, is Mischa trying to hail a cab here or signaling her own kind on Mars to come back & pick her ass up? You tell me.
