Even ex Kevin Federline participated in the big day, hanging out with the group for about an hour before bringing the boys home.
Gee, you almost forget for a second there the court battles, teenage pregnancies, and nervous breakdowns.
Who can forget Britney Spears’ disastrous 2007 VMA performance? But one year later, the once-beleaguered actress took the same stage — and shone. No, she didn’t dance, but she did open the ceremony and even took home three trophies. It’s the first time she ever won a VMA award.
Britney Spears is doing great — but apparently, so are her lawyers. Her court-appointed attorney just billed her $248,625 for 7 months of work, while her dad’s attorney reimbursed about $700 just for photocopying documents.
Britney Spears may seem well on the road to recovery — her custody battle’s over, her career’s picking up, and she’s even participating in some celebrity events — but it’s too early to tell if she can handle her own life. In fact, the courts are likely to extend her father’s conservatiorship role. Some experts are even saying that participating in the court affairs can ‘endanger’ her recovery.
We guess Britney will always be Daddy’s little girl.
Her MTV performance was a disaster, but fans still think Britney deserves an award for her video, Piece of Me.
But will Britney want to go back to any MTV event in the near future?
