Britney Spears Returns Home After Family Death

britney-spears-funeral-1-29-07.jpgOnce pop princess Britney Spears was spotted Thursday afternoon returning to Los Angeles with her two children, Sean Preston & Jayden James, after a death in the family.

Spears left Sunday on a private jet with her two sons bound for her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana when she learned that her 59-year-old aunt Sandra Bridges Covington had succumbed to breast cancer.   Covington was Spears’ mother, Lynne’s, sister.  The funeral took place Tuesday in Amite, LA at 11:30am. 

According to Spears’ manager, Larry Rudolph, Brit is back & is already starting to work again on that new album of hers. 

“She’s back and working,” Rudolph stated.

We send out love to the Spears’ family during this time, especially with a new Britney album on the way.

None other than Britney Spears was spotted Thursday at a Santa Monica convenience store checking out the latest Us magazine scoop.  I wonder what she made of the redneck descriptions of her new man Isaac Cohen? 

Spears walked into the store after dropping off her laundry next door.  Don’t celebs have staff members to do that? 

You tell me- Would you totally read things about yourself in magazines if you were a celeb?

Britney Spears is Not Pregnant, So Says Her Manager

Britney Spears’ manager has denied rumors that the pop princess may be pregnant yet again.  Who let these rednecks into Hollywood in the first place?

Larry Rudolph tells Us Weekly that Spears is certainly not pregs, simply saying, “Britney is not pregnant.”  Rudolph went on to call recent tabloid reports that Brit is expecting as “absurd”.

Interestingly, the rumors started rather innocently & the interpretation pretty ridiculously.  Apparently last week when Britney’s new boyfriend, Isaac Cohen, wiped peanut butter on his shirt onlookers thought Brit had vomited & thus must be pregs.  There are so many things wrong with that I don’t even know where to begin!

“Because Isaac didn’t lick the peanut butter off his fingers, someone decided that it must not be peanut butter, but must instead be Britney’s vomit,” Rudolph gibbed.

Might want to bring a wipee with you next time, Isaac, my boy.
