Skylar Astin catches up with E! News about some delicious deets on the sequel of Pitch Perfect!
“I feel completely confident with her at the helm because in the first one, she was our lead producer. Not a lot of people know that so she was there every single day,” says the actor on Elizabeth Banks, who will be making her directorial debut on the film.
The 26-year-old also shared that the guys and girls would always tease each other during rehearsals, as it’s like in the film, because they “felt the vibe of the competition and the campy atmosphere.”
As for Anna Kendrick, Skylar describes her as a “consummate professional,” something we might not be able to tell since she fits her role to a T.
“Plus, she is the ‘cups’ girl. Why wouldn’t you love her?” he adds.
