Well, the Golden Globe Award nominations were announced Thursday & I have the scoop all ready for you hungry readers.
It looks like Clint Eastwood has been nominated both for Best Director for films Letters from Iwa Jima & Flags of Our Fathers. Leonardo DiCaprio also took a double-header with Best Actor nominations for his work in The Departed & Blood Diamond.Â
Surprisingly Anne Hathaway did not get nominated for Best Actress for her role in The Devil Wears Prada, the nomination went to Meryl Streep for the same film & Emily Blunt for Best Supporting Actress.Â
Babel leads the Golden Globe Award nominations with seven nods, including Best Drama. The Departed has roped in six. Even though Mel Gibson let us all know how he feels about the Jew, Apocalypto received a nomination for Best Foreign Film. And of course, Borat was nominated for Best Comedy, though it should have been The Movie With The Most Current Lawsuits.
