The A-List is basically the Gay version of Bravo’s popular franchise The Real Housewives and today at least part of the cast, which will be featured on the LOGO Network were revealed.
The cast includes former ‘NSync crooner Lance Bass, along with his ex-boyfriend and Amazing Race winner Reichen Lehmkuhl and Reichen’s new boyfriend Mike Ruiz, a photographer.
Other people involved include a pair of models and a salon owner. Other details are still pretty mum, but given the cast of characters typically put on these shows I assume it will be a lot like The Real Housewives but when someone says “This show is Gay” they’ll be right on more than one level. I just hope the hissy fits are as entertaining as the Real Housewives franchise.
It’s amazing that it’s taken a reality TV show to feature an actual gay cast…I say cast more in the sense of “actors” because let’s face it, these shows are all made up, even if producers would like us to think otherwise.
Does anyone know why they’ve decided to call it A-List? Perhaps “Almost C-List” would have been more suited for the people appearing. Sorry Lance Bass but you aren’t on the A-List anymore and either is a one time TV star who most people don’t know by name.
