Sibling piano group The 5 Browns watched on Thursday as their father plead guilty to sexual abuse charges.
Kieth Brown, 55, managed his five children until 2008, but now he sits with three felony counts of sexual abuse, charges brought by his teenage daughters resulting from various abuses they suffered as children in the early to late 90’s.
The groups spokesperson earlier this week confirmed the accusations stemming from daughter Desirae, 32, Deondra, 30, and Melody, 26.
According to the groups rep:
“We can confirm that Keith Brown has been charged with sexual abuse involving his daughters. The 5 Browns wish to thank their friends and supporters for their concern and prayers on their behalf during this trying time.”
Brown’s daughters came forward to ensure he would never be able to manage other young girls.
Brown will be sentenced on March 31 and could face up to 10 years behind bars.
