Ted Williams, the homeless man with the “Golden Voice” has checked himself out of rehab just two weeks into a 30-day stint.
Williams checked himself out of the Origins Recovery Center in South Texas and is on his way back to California, despite pleas from his counselors for him to stay and finish his much needed treatment.
Williams entered rehab citing a 25 year alcohol addiction.
The man with the golden voice was discovered by Ohio reporters who uploaded his voice to YouTube, turning him into the first viral sensation of 2011. Since that time Williams has voices a commercial for Kraft and has been offered a job with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
After job offers started pouring in, Williams threatened to beat his nine children at a Los Angeles hotel, leading to his stint in rehab after Dr. Phil stepped in to try and help the violent alcohol addicted Williams.
