It’s no secret that I can’t stand the stupid antics of the talentless actress/singer known as Taylor Momsen, but her newest outbreak was one of stupidity more than recklessness.
During a recent concert in Scotland, Momsen said to the crowd:
“Glasgow, you are looking good tonight. We are The Pretty Reckless and we have heard that Glasgow is the craziest crowd in all of England.”
That would have been a nice shout out, had Glasgow been in England instead of Scotland.
The crowd quickly realize her mistake and began to boo and hiss at her.
After the concert one fan spoke with the Daily Record:
“You could tell people were really offended. The crowd just seemed flat from then on,” while adding, “there really isn’t any excuse. Surely someone backstage could have said something to her… I think she needs to go back to school for geography lessons.”
Momsed tried to sidestep her mistake after the show on Twitter:
“Glasgow, I love you, I now HAVE to tour Scotland (haha, sorry bout the slip up!).”
The real tragedy? People actually paid to see a Momsen concert, perhaps she should consider sticking to trying to act as she has on Gossip Girl.
