A lot of slip-ups have happened in Twitter. The popular micro-blogging service encourages people to post tweets of what’s happening in their lives at the very moment they feel like it. After making several horrible Japan Earthquake jokes via Twitter yesterday comedian Gilbert Gottfried has apologized for the jokes that cost him his spokesperson job with insurance company Aflac.
Gottfried had been with the company for 10 years before making jokes that included, “Japan is really advanced. They don’t go to the beach. The beach comes to them.”
Since 2000 Gottfried has voiced the Aflac Duck in more than 30 commercials.

When James Franco isn’t stuck under a boulder while cutting his arm off, he can now be spotted cruising the internet via Facebook and Twitter.
The Oscar nominated star finally joined his fellow movie stars on both Twitter and Facebook.
On his official Twitter account on Friday Franco tweeted:
“Hi everybody, here I am on Twitter! This is my FIRST tweet”
He then linked to a verification video to show that it was actually him.

Tiger Woods in the last 12 months has gone from a life of seclusion with almost a 100% media blackout to starting his new life as a Tweeting celebrity.
After a day of eating traditional thanksgiving food, including Pumpkin and Apple pie, Woods tweeted his workout to his followers:

Katy Perry and Russell Brand waited until they had been married for one day before taking to Twitter.
The newly wed couple both Tweeted the message “We Did!” on their personal Twitter pages, while uploading a TwitPic.
Unfortunately for fans the picture just showed their names written in different colored bubble letters formed using Silly Bandz, hardly the wedding picture fans were expecting to see.
