Christopher Tierney Spending Christmas In ICU After Spider-Man Accident

Christopher Tierney, a stuntman for Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark who fell 30 feet into a pit this week will spend Christmas in the ICU as he recovers from a broken elbow, broken ribs and a cracked skull.

Tierney’s dad told TMZ that the family has shuffled around their plans so they can be with him at the NYC hospital where he is staying.

While he’s recovering from various injuries, his dad says he wants to get back to work:

‘Lost’ Co-Creator Apologizes For “Spider-Man Musical” Remark

Damon Lindelof, the man who created the hit show Lost with J.J. Abrams has apologized for remarks he made in regards to the stuntman who was hurt on the stage of the under production broadway show Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark.

After the actor/stuntman fell 30 feet into a pit, Lindelof Tweeted:

“With great power, comes great respWAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGHSMASHCRASHKATHUMP!!!!!”

Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark To Stay “Dark” For A Little Bit Longer

Spider-Man Turn Off The Dark

Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark is on hiatus at the moment while safety concerns are addressed.

The show will stay dark for at least tonight’s show as the production crew tries to work out safety concerns which resulted in a 30 foot fall for actor Christopher Tierney, a fall that required him to have back surgery.

According to a show spokesman, the delay will allow new safety measures to be implemented that will comply with New York Labor Department concerns.
