Uh oh, it looks like actor/ writer/ director/ producer Roman Polanski might have a pattern: young girls. Actress Charlotte Lewis has come forth with allegations that Polanksi molested her. I mean, it’s not like we didn’t know there was something wrong with him when he allegedly raped a 13 year-old, after which he high-tailed it out of the USA and hasn’t been back. But it looks like he has a penchant for tenderflesh and it’s coming back to bite him.
Polanksi has been fighting extradition to the USA for decades and is considered a fugitive here. That because he left the country after being accused of statutory rape and five other charges, after supposedly drugging 13 year-old model Samantha Geimer at Jack Nicholson’s house in 1977. He fled the USA in 1978.
Lewis is claiming that Polanski sexually abused her when she was 16, at his apartment, in a manner similar to Samantha Geimer. Lewis later appeared in his film Pirates, which wasn’t released until she was 19.
Polanski has been under house arrest in Switzerland since Sep 2009. His 2nd wife, Sharon Tate, was brutally murdered by the followers of Charles Mason, known as the Manson Gang, in 1969, which may or may not explain his state of mind.
