I really hope this pre-production comes to fruition because it has been confirmed that Judd Apatow is working with Paul Reubens to bring a new Pee-Wee movie to the big screen.
The confirmation of the partnership was announced today by Apatow’s publicist, noting that he’s working directly with Pee Wee Herman (Reubens).
Reuben’s who is co-writing the movie says it’s “an on-the-road movie built around a big adventure.” Yeah we know it sounds like Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure and apparently that’s the vibe Reubens is going for.
