Actress Jill Clayburgh, the two time Oscar nominee died this week at her Lakeville, Conn. home, she was 66 years-old. Clayburgh had been battling a 21-year fight with chronic leukemia.
Clayburgh was first nominated for an Oscar in the 1978 film An Unmarried Woman then again the following year for her co-starring role beside Burt Reynolds in Starting Over.
Most recently she was known for her role as the mother of Ally in Ally McBeal on the small screen along with smaller roles on Nip/Tuck, Law & Order, The Practice and other small screen roles.
