Tracking Celebrities in Their Native Habitat
Call me a fan. Call me overexcited. Call me a flower child wannabe; I don’t care. March 19 is too far away and I cannot wait to see The Runaways. I’ve raved about it for the past few weeks, and like most overindulgent fans, my heart rate speeds up whenever I see new tidbits, videos, and photos of the movie.

HRH Prince William was greeted with the biggest cheers from the crowd at the Royal Opera House in London. A celebrity in his own right, he signed autographs and posed for fans at the red carpet. It was also a night to remember because Prince William was announced as Lord Attenborough’s successor to the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA)’s Presidency.
Kristen Stewart recently hit the Sundance Film Festival with indie film, Welcome to the Rileys. “It’s about a businessman who comes to terms with the death of his daughter through an unlikely relationship with a teenage stripper [played by Kristen],” director Jake Scott told Cinematical.
The 19-year-old Twilight star doesn’t waste any time defending her new role against critics who think that it’s just another stripper movie. “It opens your eyes to people who just don’t have any options,” she said. “I’m speaking very vaguely about it, because [Mallory’s situation is] so awful. But yeah, [not having options] is the only way I can describe it.”
Although Welcome to the Rileys is already earning good reviews at Sundance, fans are on their toes as to when the official trailer and public release date will be announced. For now, you’ll have to settle for Sundance’s limited screenings.
