We already know he bit a bat during one of his concerts. We know about his drug and alcohol problems. We know about his hilarious not-so-average family, thanks to MTV’s hit reality series, The Osbournes.
What else do we need to know about former Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne?
Well, according to the man himself, the public knows a little too much—a lot of them are a bit exaggerated—hence his need to pen a book.
I Am Ozzy is now available in hardcover for fans who want to add to their Black Sabbath memorabilia. “Frank, fearless, and very funny, I Am Ozzy is his highly anticipated autobiography, in which Ozzy comes clean: in all senses,” his official website said.
We all know that celebrity autobiographies just end up in the red tag area of bookstores; they’re just too predictable and shallow! But with Ozzie’s memoir, fans and critics are saying it’s just too darn funny.
Here’s an excerpt from the author’s disclaimer: “Other people’s memories of the stuff in this book might not be the same as mine. I ain’t gonna argue with ’em. Over the past 40 years I’ve been loaded on booze, coke, acid, Quaaludes, glue, cough mixture, heroin, Rohypnol, Klonopin, Vicodin, and too many other heavy-duty substances to list in this footnote. On more than a few occasions I was on all of those at the same time.”
Sounds even better than the reality show! Excuse me while I click on Amazon.
