There was always mischief and mayhem on the show Melrose Place, but now the drama has reached real life, with one of the shows stars indicted for manslaughter. Amy Locane was indicted by a grand jury for aggravated manslaughter and assault resulting from a June car crash that killed a motorist from New Jersey.
Locane’s lawyer Blair Zwillman told E! News:
“I believe that the aggravated manslaughter charges are totally inappropriate and misplaced,” Locane’s lawyer, Blair Zwillman, while adding “I believe that when all of the facts of the incident become known, Amy Locane will be acquitted. She has confidence in the criminal justice system. She is distraught about the death of Helene Seeman. Amy has two young daughters who mean everything to her.”
In the original police report Locane admitted to officers that she had been drinking before her 2007 Chevy Tahoe ran into the passenger side of Fred Seeman’s 2010 Mercury Milan, killing passenger Helene.
