Actor David Boreanz, co-star of TV crime drama Bones and formerly star of vampire series Angel, is admitting to having had an affair with someone, and thus cheating on his wife of nine years, Jaime Bergman. But Boreanz only made the admission after the mistress supposedly tried to extort him through her representative, Gloria Allred.
So what’s wrong with this picture? Top male athletes and bad-ass rockstars always seem to be dating elegant actresses and models, but top male actors have flings with skanky golddiggers. After all, Yankees’ third baseman A-Rod is apparently having a fling with Cameron Diaz and previously dated Kate Hudson. Ok, wait, not all top athletes are dating elegant women. Golfer Tiger Woods was taking his putter into some pretty skanky territory. What’s really crazy, though, is that one of Woods’ mistresses, Rachel Uchitel, supposedly is the mystery woman who got it on with David Boreanz, though TMZ says it’s not actually with Uchitel.
I don’t get it. Boreanz’ wife is beautiful and they make for a good-looking couple. Could Boreanz be covering something up? He has a ton of chemistry with his co-star on Bones, the lovely and exotic Emily Deschanel, who plays the lead character. See video clip above for an example.
