Michael Douglas Finishes Fighting Cancer, Visits Disney World

I’ve always found it kind of cliche when someone is asked “you just beat so and so, what do you plan to do now?” and they say “I’m going to Disney World.” But when Michael Douglas goes to Disney World with his family after finishing radiology for his fight again cancer, it puts a little smile on my face.

After finishing an eight-week round of radiotherapy the 66 year old actor took his wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones and their children Dylan and Carys to Disney World.

Douglas finished his therapy last month which including radiation and chemotherapy to fight throat cancer.

Michael Douglas To Undergo Chemotherapy For Tumor

Michael DouglasMichael Douglas has announced that he has a tumor in his throat which will require 8 weeks of chemotherapy treatment according to PEOPLE.

The 65 year old star says his doctors expect him to make a full recovery and in a public statement he said in regards to his treatment, “I am very optimistic.”

Douglas has not announced whether or not the lump is malignant or benign.

The treatment comes just ahead of his new films Sept. 24 release, that move “Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps” is the sequel to his hugely popular 90’s movie Wall Street.

Michael Douglas is married to Catherine Zeta Jones and they have two children together, Dylan Michael and Carys Zeta.

5 Stars Go Naked For “Allure”

It isn’t just Catherine Zeta-Jones’ May cover that’s getting people to purchase Allure’s May issue; it’s the five stars that went all the way for the magazine’s annual “The Naked Truth” photo shoot.

First, there’s American Idol judge Kara Dioguardi, who proudly went from a size 8 to a sexier size 2. “Food is not what I use to anesthetize myself anymore,” she said.

Second, there’s actress Regina Hall, who credited her svelte body to Ashtanga Yoga, which she’s been doing five days a week since the beginning of January.

Third, there’s Emmanuelle Chriqui, one of the stars of Entourage. She may have one of the most sought-after pair of assets, but she revealed, “[I wish] I could have had a dancer’s body.”

Fourth, there’s Grey’s Anatomy’s Jessica Capshaw, who actually doesn’t see herself as super sexy. “I was never a rail-thin person,” she said.

Lastly, there’s singer Colbie Caillat, who initially had worries about her baring it all for Allure. “I worried that it might make [my younger fans] think I was changing somehow,” she said.
