Weekend Ceremony: Carrie Underwood Marries Hockey Playing Fiance

Country superstar Carrie Underwood and her fiance Mike Fisher, 30, were married on Saturday, July 10th.

Fisher is a hockey play for the Canadian hockey team the Ottawa Senators.

According to PEOPLE Magazine the couple have been engaged since December and the wedding was witnessed by 250 guests during a private ceremony at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge at Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Georgia.

The 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM) for 2010 took place over the weekend in Las Vegas, with Carrie Underwood winning Entertainer of the Year for the second year in a row. The Top Male Vocalist award went to Brad Paisley and Miranda Lambert took home the award for Top Female Vocalist of the Year.
