Matthew McConaughey and his lady of six years Camila Alves finally tied the knot on Saturday in Austin, Texas as a representative of the actor confirms on US Weekly. McConaughey who is a Texas native and his partner gathered around 100 of their friends and family for the special event.
“There were about 100 of his close friends and family there. The ceremony was very emotional. There was a moment when Matthew leaned down and whispered something in Camila’s ear and you could see a tear coming down her face. Everyone let out a collective sigh,” one wedding guest told the magazine. Following the wedding ceremony, Matthew provided his guests with an option to celebrate all night long by camping out in a state-of-the-art tents on his property grounds.
It’s definitely a campground, but they weren’t exactly roughing it. They have showers, restrooms, and air conditioning. It’s very unique, high-end camping,” a source said.
Matthew and Camila who met back in 2006, have two children, Levi and Vida. The actor proposed to his Brazilian-born ladylove back in Christmas.
