The very cool custom-built 1955 truck that Sylvester Stallone drove in his movie The Expendables went on the auction block this week at a celebrity car auction in Arizona and it brought in a whopping $132,000.
The Barrett-Jackson auction company said the truck was built by the team at West Coast Customs and had a huge number of add-on features, including a Ford 347cid Edelbrock engine and custom built race seats.
Also included, “hidden compartments to hold movie weapons” which means we hope they did background checks before the truck was sold.
According to TMZ:
Stallone’s ride wasn’t the only AMAZING celebrity automobile on the auction block — Evel Knievel’s famous truck … Alice Cooper’s custom Camaro … and even a car used by Elvis … they all sold for big numbers.
Keep in mind, the trucks price wasn’t for a rare edition of a vehicle, but more or less due to the cool additions offered with the vehicle and the movie star attachment if offers.
