What happened to Susan Sarandon? She arrived in crutches and a foot bandage for the red carpet premiere of the film You Don’t Know Jack in New York on Wednesday.
Sorry folks; there’s no exciting story behind her injury. She just came from an aid mission to St. Damien’s Children’s Hospital in the Haitian capital Port-au-Prince. It was raining hard, so she slipped while visiting the earthquake victims. Other stars such as Demi Moore were also there to volunteer on behalf of Artists for Peace and Justice, but they got through the slippery situation unharmed.
“It’s a very boring story,” she told People. “It happened the night before I left. But I would prefer to say it was from break-dancing or surfing or soccer. It still hurts, but it’s nothing.”
Hey, at least her black foot bandage matches her outfit.
