Anne Hathaway has gone blonde for the MET gala, just a next step further since cropping her locks for Les Miserables.
The debut of this new Debbie Harry inspired look at the Metropolitan Museum of Art is not surprising at all. Since winning the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress and suffering from a spurt of online backlash, Anne needed somehow to reinvent herself.
And the blonde ‘do might just be the thing!
It seems it’s not just Anne who wants a makeover: Anne Hathaway’s Husband Adam Shulman couldn’t help himself and got heavy-handed with the eyeliner.
For the Met Gala, Anne dons a vintage Valentino dress from 1992 and even ditches the bra. Not that anyone noticed all eyes were on her blonde hair.
Nicole Richie was also going for a punk rock look for the MET gala which was kinda unflattering since she kinda looks like a frosted Troll doll from the 90s.
