Director Sophia Coppola, best known for directing Lost In Translation has welcomed a second baby girl into the world today according to PEOPLE. The director and Thomas Mars, the lead singer of Phoenix, named their new daughter Cosima and she was born in New York City.
The couple’s other daughter Romy is three and a half years old.
Mars and Coppola announced the pregnancy back in December during an interview with Chicago radio station WXRT. During that interview Mars said:
“I heard the story that if you play Bach, [babies in the womb] get smarter.”
Mars is currently touring in support of his bands newest album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, while Coppola just wrapped on her newest film Somewhere which will debut in December.
While not married the couple has been dating since 2005.
