Actor Shia LaBeouf was handcuffed and then briefly detained before police officers freed him following a bar fight in Los Angeles on Friday night.
The fight took place at Mad Bull’s Tavern in Sherman Oaks. Some patrons at the bar say LaBeouf “got a little rowdy” which led to another patron at the bar punching him in the face.
Everyone involved was handcuffed, but quickly let go with a warning from officers.
There are mixed stories from the scene where other patrons say LaBeouf was simply trying to defend himself when he was “jumped on his way out of the bar.”
The actors story was backed up by tavern security personnel.
