Anna Nicole Smith & Larry Birkhead Paternity Update

In court yesterday, a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge refused to grant an immediate order for Anna Nicole & her baby daughter DanniLynn Hope to return to the U.S. from the Bahamas.

Larry Birkhead, one of two possible fathers of DanniLynn, is requesting a paternity test to determine who the father truly is.  Birkhead’s attorney Debra Opri is also requesting that Smith be ordered to submit to a drug test. 

Well, that’s not a lot to ask:  relent to have your child’s paternity determined & see if you’re on crack.  I’m sure Anna Nicole will come flying back to the States to participate in that farce.

Directly after the hearing, Opri addressed Anna at a press conference, “Anna, I am talking to you directly now and I want you to listen to me and I want you to hear what I have to tell you.

“If you are so certain that Larry Birkhead is not the father, then you have nothing, absolutely nothing to lose by submitting to this jurisdiction and allowing a paternity test.”

Smith’s semi-husband & longtime lawyer, Howard K. Stern says that he is the baby’s papa.

Wedding Crashers star Bradley Cooper & Crash actress Jennifer Esposito have gone & gotten themselves engaged to one another.  Who even knew they were dating?

31-year-old Cooper & 34-year-old Esposito have kept their romance very low profile and even went so far as to deny their involvement.  But now it looks like the cat is out of the bag.

Congrats to the happy pair, may they last a little longer than Nicole & Brody.

Couples Cindy Crawford & hubby Randy Gerber and Pamela Anderson & her thrice-married husband Kid Rock went on a double date at the Rolling Stone fete.

Kind of an unlikely pair & I can even imagine Kid Rock saying, “Cindy Crawford & Randy?  Do we have to, Pam?”

But the couples may be pals as Crawford and Gerber attended the Saint-Tropez leg of Anderson and Kid Rock’s wedding tour.

Johnny Depp Getting Married to ‘Sweeney Todd’ Vocal Coach

Not only is Johnny Depp getting married to his longtime girlfriend Vanessa Paradis, his is marrying his Sweeney Todd vocal coach.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor has to pass a singing test to land a part in Tim Burton’s new film Sweeney Todd, after all the work they have done together I don’t think he’ll have a problem.  Do you?

The bosses of the new film have allowed Depp’s longtime love Paradis to be his singing coach so he does not have to leave his beloved southern France home to take lessons in L.A.  Vanessa enjoyed a pop career in the 80s and is ready for the job.

A source stated, “He is over the moon Vanessa can train him in the studio at their converted barn.”

Johnny will be playing the demonic hairdresser Sweeny Todd, who butchers his clients and uses their remains as fillings for pie.  Sounds very Tim Burton.
