It’s finally official: Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes will marry Saturday (tomorrow!!!) at Italy’s Odescalchi Castle. Located in the lakeside town of Bracciano, this 15th-century castle will be a truly romantic setting for TomKat’s wedding location.
Odescalchi Castle has long been the reported venue for Cruise & Holmes’ wedding, but this is the first time the rumor has been confirmed. Bracciano’s mayer Patrizia Riccioni is waiving the $50,000 fee the facility normally charges, saying that TomKat has already done enough for them with all the attention they have brought to the town. I wonder, did she mean that in a good way or a sarcastic way?
The $50,000 fee to use the facility has been waived, because Bracciano mayor Patrizia Riccioni wants to thank the couple for all the attention they’ve brought her town, Bush reported.
“I want to thank Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes for choosing this venue for such an important event,” Riccioni stated.
Mayor Riccioni even gifted the famous couple with a small silver replica of the castle as a gift, the card reading, “A sincere note in sign of gratitude from the city of Bracciano, for having chosen it as the place where to crown your dream of love.”
Wow. I don’t think you can do better than that. I didn’t even get a complimentary piece of cow dung for getting married in a country field….

Wow, it looks like Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes are clearly excited about their Italian wedding Saturday. The soon-to-be-married couple were in a small car crash Thursday evening in Rome around 7:30pm.Â
As Tom & Katie were leaving their Hassler hotel on the way to their wedding rehearsal dinner at Nino, the couple spent some time waving to a herd of fans as they jumped into their black Mercedes van. And, according to Life & Style, the rest is Roman collision history.
“Tom and Katie sped off down a little alley, and there was a tiny silver Mini parked on the right-hand side of the alley,†says the witness. “The Mini was starting to pull out as the TomKat car was speeding down the alley. Tom’s car hit the front left-hand bumper.â€
The collision left a deep foot-long scratch on the vehicle. The Mini’s driver, an Italian man in his early 30s, was visibly upset but unharmed. Says the witness, “He just had this look on his face like ‘I’m just trying to drive here!’”
When Life & Style approached the man, he responded in English with a strong Italian accent, “I’m OK. I don’t know what happened. This crazy world.â€
Apparently the vehicular incident did not slow Tom & Katie down, as they made it on time to the rehearsal dinner & Tom even got to dine on one of his favorite foods, gnocchi.

In a recent poll by the National Education Association (NEA), Sin City actress Jessica Alba was voted the celebrity most people would like to see substitute teach for a day. Why on earth is the NEA wasting time on such a silly survey, one could ask?
Alba received about 46% of the vote; while Oprah Winfrey got 23%; Angelina Jolie at 14%; Will Smith came in at 12% & finally, tennis pro Andre Agassi at 4%.Â
In reaction to her new accolade, Alba stated, “I’m available. That’s amazing. Why do they want me to be their substitute teacher?”
“That’s cool. There’d be lots of discussions if I was a substitute teacher. Lots of debating going on.”
NEA Reg Weaver said, “Just as actress Jessica Alba toiled long and hard before achieving stardom, substitute educators labor tirelessly — and often in relative anonymity — to provide every child with a quality public education.”

My Name is Earl actress Jaime Pressly has finally confirmed, instead of all that denying, her pregnancy! In fact, Pressly is already four months along in her pregnancy. Man, that girl is tiny!
Jamie made her announcement during a taping of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno Wednesday. Pressly told the attending audience that she will find out her child’s gender this coming Monday, but that her doctor had joked with her the last appointment, saying that the baby was either a boy or has “a third leg.”
29-year-old Pressly has denied reports over the past weeks regarding a supposed pregnancy, she said she refrained from speaking the truth in case there was a miscarriage.  “I lied and lied and lied!” she said.

In regards to how the actress is feeling, Jamie revealed, “I live off Tylenol. The mood swings you can’t do anything about. You want to stab people and you don’t know why! I’m still tired. You wake up sleepy.”

“I’m healthy, the baby’s healthy, we’re good.”
Jamie’s beau, deejay Eric Cubiche, proposed to the actress October 17, but they have not as of yet made any official plans.

No word on if Pressly’s pregnancy will be incorporated into the hit NBC show, but I like the idea of a truck stop conception, don’t you?
