Prince Albert II of Monaco is engaged to marry former South African Olympic swimmer Charlene Wittstock, having just announced their engagement to the press on Wednesday morning.
The prince is the son of Prince Rainier III and Hollywood starlet Grace Kelly, 52. The couple are set to get married in a ceremony which will occur later this year.

90’s singing sensation Alanis Morissette confirmed through her reps today that she has married rapper Mario “Mc Souleye” Treadway in a ceremony at the couple’s Los Angeles home.
The ceremony, which has been kept under wraps until this time occurred on May 22nd, nearly an eternity in showbiz time.
The wedding took place a few days before Morissette’s 36th birthday, Mc Souleye is 30.
While never married, Alanis was at one time engaged to actor Ryan Reynolds, best known for his role as the wise cracking lifetime student Van Wilder.
Today Show host Matt Lauer has apparently split from his model wife of nearly 12 years and mother of his three kids, Annette Roque. Or wait, was it that she threw him out on his ass for cheating on her, possibly with one or more Canadian broadcasters?
Apparently he moved out of their house after two days of fighting, which ended with Annette no longer wearing her wedding ring. But the move actually happened a while ago, as they’ve been living apart for two months. I guess Annette didn’t want to go through deja vu, as Lauer supposedly cheated on her a few months before their wedding. (She didn’t find out about it until two years afterwards.)
The couple have three children. Lauer was also previously married, from 1981-88, to writer/ producer Nancy Alspaugh. Alspaugh said she’s not shocked to her about Lauer and Roque’s breakup (the two had previously filed for divorce). Lauer was also the host who conducted the interview in which Tom Cruise revealed to the world what an expert on the history of psychiatry he is. Try not to laugh too hard while you watch the following video clip.
Sandra Bullock has been photographed for the first time since the news of her husband, Jesse James lurid affairs were made public, and it’s not hard to tell the 46 year old has been under a tremendous amount of stress.
UsMagazine acquired the photos (embedded below) and hired a body language expert to to analyze them. Patti Wood says:
“She is gripping the coffee cup very high up,” notes Wood. “That’s what you do when you really want to grab a hold of something and show your power. She’s really making it obvious and playing toward the camera to show that empty finger.”
Bullock also is wearing a black North Face jacket, black ball cap and scarf around her neck.
“She’s chosen a heavily padded jacket and has it zipped up very high,” observes Wood. “The choice of her scarf, which is tied over heart, means that she is hiding her heart window and throat window, which is the communication window.”
Shayne Lamas, winner of season 12 of The Bachelor, has married Nik Richie from celebrity gossip blog TheDirty.com at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.
The wedding took place last night (April 18) and the pair have reportedly only known each other since Saturday! The couple is said to have splurged on the $520 Michael Jordan Package at the wedding chapel, which includes a wedding photo package and DVD of the wedding.
