It’s the season of engagements, and bombshell Scarlett Johansson is not the one to be left behind!
You read it right: the actress is engaged to her boyfriend of 10 months, Romain Dauriac, as reported first by People.
Dauriac is a French journalist, whose notable work includes being the former editor of France’s urban art magazine, Clark.
This most likely explains Scarlett’s pretty, vintage Art Deco ring, which he presented to her when the proposal happened a month ago.
How could have they hidden it for so long?
Johansson, wearing an elegant, black Versace dress, went down the red carpet with her beau at the Venice Film Festival yesterday, where the star’s latest flick, Under The Skin, premiered.
Last July, Scarlett was already spotted sporting this diamond and ruby ring around, but her representative cleverly debunked the rumors via E! News.
The source claimed that the actress was “not engaged or close to being engaged”, and that the ring was “simply a piece of jewelry”.
Someone definitely bluffed there!
Johansson and Dauriac became an item in November 2012, after she went through a colorful string of relationships that included non-celeb ad executive Nate Naylor, ex-husband Ryan Reynolds, and even Josh Hartnett.
