Rihanna is work, work, working it!
Was 2016 the comeback year Rih expected? We ain’t sure, but she’s kickin’ the PR train a notch with an interview with Vogue for its April issue, where, of course, she’s fresh as always.
First off, the ‘ANTI’ singer is putting those Beyonce rivalry issues to effing rest!
“[People] just get so excited to feast on something that’s negative. Something that’s competitive. Something that’s, you know, a rivalry. And that’s just not what I wake up to. Because I can only do me. And nobody else is going to be able to do that,” she says.
Alongside this empowered statement is her willingness to push the boundaries for women everywhere:
“I always wanted to do what my brothers were doing. I always wanted to play the games they played and play rough and wear pants and go outside… It breaks boundaries, it’s liberating, and it’s empowering when you feel like, Well, I can do that, too.”
Honey, you already did that. And more.
More RiRi!
