Former child star Raven-Symoné seems to have come out on Twitter, and she couldn’t be more happier.
After Minnesota’s implemented its own gay marriage law, while the US Supreme Court nulled the Defense of Marriage Act, the singer-actress took her joy to Twitter.
“I can finally get married! Yay government! So proud of you,” Raven tweets.
Immediately, netizens took this as a sign that the “The Cosby Show” alumna is planning to get married.
However, she clarifies to E! News, “I am very happy that gay marriage is opening up around the country and is being accepted. I was excited to hear today that more states legalized gay marriage. I, however, am not currently getting married, but it is great to know I can now, should I wish to.”
“Raven is not getting married. She was just supporting the fact that she heard on NPR that more states legalized gay marriage today,” a representative seconds the motion.
She also made waves last 2012 by defending herself on Twitter on rumors that she’s gay.
“I’m living my PERSONAL life the way I’m happiest. I’m not one, in my 25 year career to disclose who I’m dating. And I shall not start now. My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I’m datings to know. I’m not one for a public display of my life,” Raven tweeted.
This comes off the heels of a report that she was living together with a gay America’s Next Top Model contestant, AzMarie Livingston, in a NYC apartment, and they were in a long-time relationship.
That’s just so Raven!
