Is it life imitating art? This might be the case regarding Paul Walker‘s death.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said that speed killed him and his driver/friend, Roger Rodus.
“Speed was a factor in the solo vehicle collision,” they said.
The Fast and the Furious actor died in Santa Clarita last Saturday afternoon, while riding a red 2005 Porsche Carrera GT which crashed into a utility pole and burst into flames.
The said vehicle was said to be very difficult to maneuver, and possesses a V-10, 610-hp engine, as reported by CNN.
The two — Walker and Rodus — planned to help in the latter’s Charity Toy Drive & Automotive Social Gathering for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.
“Someone called it in and said it was a vehicle fire. We all ran around and jumped in cars and grabbed fire extinguishers and immediately went to the vehicle. It was engulfed in flames,” claims Antonio Holmes, one of the charity’s attendees.
