After months of grueling workouts, strict food regimes and dealing with Jillian Michaels, Patrick House has come out on top of The Biggest Loser with $250,000 and bragging rights to his name.
House beat out fellow competitor Alfrado “Frado” Dinten by losing 181 pounds, that’s 45.25 percent of his overall body weight. Frado didn’t do to bad either, coming in at 162 pounds loss (44.14 percent gone).
The $250,000 prize comes just in time for Patrick who had lost his job before the competition.
Mark Pinkhasovich, a bartender and recruiter from East Brunswick, N.J. won the contests “stay-at-home” prize of $100,000 by dropping 213 pounds, more than half his body weight.
It will be interesting to see what happens in 2011 with Michaels leaving the show in the hands of her replacement.
