The fashion world faces another loss: Oscar de la Renta.
As reported by ABC News, the famous Dominican-born designer died at age 82, with reasons yet to be disclosed to the public.
While de la Renta was diagnosed with cancer in 2006, he already announced that he was “totally clean” of a disease last year to International Business Times.
The couture magnate’s recent projects included the launch of the Spring 2015 collection last September, designing Amal Clooney’s wedding gown, and Michelle Obama’s dress.
About death, he stated in an interview: “We always think we are going to live forever. The dying aspect we will never accept. The one thing about having this kind of warning is how you appreciate every single day of life.”
You’ll be remembered, Oscar.
