When people started teasing Nicolas Cage for being too old, we didn’t think he’d take it seriously!
According to TMZ, the 46-year-old actor just purchased a 9-foot tall pyramid-shaped tomb built in a New Orleans cemetery, “with the expectation that it will be his final resting place.” Check out the photo of his future resting place here. Perhaps he was inspired by his movie National Treasure.
It’s a bit disturbing that he invested in property at this period in his career. Nic is facing a $14 million tax bill on top of a lien on his real estate holdings and another $6.7 million that he owed from 2008. He is also currently embroiled in a legal battle with his former business manager Samuel Levin, whom he has blamed for causing his money woes.
