Miley Cyrus wants to distance herself from her soon to end Disney days and PopEater is reporting that she’s taken the next step in that departure by playing a role in LOL: Laughing Out Loud an upcoming film where she’ll play a “teenage Aphrodite, minus the confidence.”
The movie is an English-language version of a French coming-of-age film and focuses on the mother and teenage daughter communication dilemma.
In the movie Miley’s character loses her virginity, kisses a female friend on the lips, gets drunk, gets high and shows her mom (played by Demi Moore) her Brazilian wax, although the last one is by accident.
The movie is set to open in theaters next year and stars Ashley Greene and Thomas Jane.
LOL: Laughing Out Loud — which also stars Thomas Jane and Ashley Greene, opens in theaters next year.
