Citing irreconcilable differences Michael C. Hall and his dexter co-star and wife Jennifer Carpenter called it quits a few days ago and now we’ve learned that it was Carpenter who first headed to court to dissolve the marriage.
The celebrity couple were married on December 31, 2008 and will continue to work together as their show enters a sixth season.
In the meantime, Hall has been nominated for yet another Golden Globe, his fifth in as many years and a Screen Actors Guild nod also came his way on Thursday.
Rumors have circulated that Hall had an affair with co-star Julia Stiles, however nearly every insider close to all those involved have denied that an affair occurred.
