Who would have thought? Madonna’s highly publicized attempt at adopting a 3-year-old girl from Malawi has been denied by a judge. The reason is that the judge “sided with critics who have said exceptions should not be made for the star who has set up a major development project for this impoverished, AIDS-stricken southern African country.” Madonna’s lawyers have appealed.
