Lupita Nyong’o is Vogue‘s woman of the hour!
Fame never looked so good for the black actress after winning tons of accolades for last year’s 12 Years A Slave, where she played the tormented Patsey.
“It just feels like the entertainment industry exploded into my life,” Nyong’o shares. “People who seemed so distant all of a sudden were right in front of me and recognizing me—before I recognized them!”
On the magazine’s upcoming July issue, the gorgeous newcomer tries her hand in modelling and getting styled, which awakened her love for fashion.
“It’s a job; it’s work, you know. We’d just try, try, try, try, try, try, try. At first it was very daunting, but I ended up really having fun with it,” she adds about her first ‘epic six-hour fitting.’
