The Lynwood Correctional Facility has a strict weekend only visitors policy, but apparently that policy doesn’t apply to movie stars since Lindsay Lohan’s ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson visited the star in jail this past weekend.
Ronson was Lohan’s second visit for the weekend with Dina Lohan (her mom) and Ali Lohan (her little sister) also visiting her after regular visiting hours.
According to Radar Online the after hours visits can be approved by jail officials and while it may seem unfair, there’s a good chance that the visits occurred after hours for everyone’s safety. Currently Lohan is kept in confinement from the general population, spending 23 hours each day in her cell.
Law enforcement confirmed the need for special treatment, telling Radar Online:
“Lindsay might get visitors after the official visiting hours are over for the other inmates for security reasons. It’s for the safety of everyone.”
Personally I think if you’re in jail, your right to visits should be forfeited rather than special privileges being given, what do you think?
