So much for being anonymous, it’s being reported Lindsay Lohan has once again joined AA.
The move comes just after it was discovered that Lindsay had failed a mandatory drug test, showing positive for cocaine.
Lohan attended an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting Friday night and then headed back to another meeting less than 24 hours later on Saturday afternoon.
What did the starlet do after her Friday meeting? She went out partying all around Hollywood of course.
The move is being largely seen as an attempt to show the court that she’s trying to turn her life around. The judge overseeing the case had told Lohan that a failed test would send her back to jail for 30 days, so there’s a good chance this act of “good behavior” won’t yield the results Lohan wants, especially after reports now state that she’s failed more than one test!
Lohan has even tried apologizing for her coke fueled nights via Twitter:
“Regretably, I did, in fact, fail my most recent drug test. Substance abuse is a disease which unfortunately doesn’t go away overnight. I am working hard to overcome it and am taking positive steps forward every day…I am testing every single day and doing what I must do to prevent any mishaps in the future. This was certainly a setback for me but I am taking responsibility for my actions and I’m prepared to face the consequences.”
Here’s to hoping she gets a full 30 days behind bars before she gets behind the wheel of a vehicle while hopped up on drugs and kills someone.
