While Lauren Graham and Peter Krause may play siblings Sarah and Adam Braverman on the hit NBC dramedy ‘Parenthood’ but that’s not where their relationship ends with Graham confirming in the October issues of Redbook that they are in fact a couple.
“I think we liked each other [but] he asked me over to his house to play a board game — and that’s exactly what we ended up doing,” she told the mag, while adding, “So I was like, ‘This guy doesn’t like me. Who actually plays a board game?’….The timing wasn’t right. I don’t think either of us was ready.”
According to Graham, they actually managed to keep their relationship a secret for quite a while (by Hollywood standards).
“Nobody knew about it for awhile, because we like to be at home, cooking and not going out,” adding “I’ve also been really protective of it [their relationship], because it’s important that you can buy us as brother and sister on the show.”
Parenthood has been a huge success for the network, one which I highly doubt will be hurt by this new relationship, although it may be hard for some fans to think of the couples brother/sister dynamic in the same way as they watch them interact on the show.
